New Moon Energy

The new moon is upon us and it has really got me thinking about its energy in relation to abundance.  Fresh new energy full of intentions and seeds to be planted creates a creative excitement deep in my heart.  During this phase, I sometimes find myself dreaming of days to come and what could be …if only….if only I would work more on my website, if only I would get that workshop created, if only I could figure out the best way to create XYZ.  The rabbit hole goes deep.This is when it is important to stop and realign this ‘if only‘ list with the energy of abundance.

It’s easy to think the ‘if only’ scenario is intention setting. When looking deeper, the energy of those thoughts comes from lack.  Lack of where I am vs abundance of what I have.  What if instead I thought ‘how incredible is it that I am in a place in my life where I get to dream up amazing classes, workshops, retreats, and whatever else my soul desires.’  I. desired. this. life.  And now I have this life.  It is more than enough, which is the definition of abundance.  

Coming from this place of more than enough does not mean I don’t still want more.  Thinking that enough is enough is also a stagnant and negative energetic place to be in.  Expanding your life can be a forever desire.  And you do not need anyone's consent to continue to work towards more than enough.

With this new moon, I invite you to reflect on your intentions for the future with a feeling of fullness.  May you always have more than enough.
